Abbson is seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our growing Production team in a full-time role. The Video Editor will be an integral part of creating, developing, and completing entertaining, informative, and engaging conservative content for social media, podcasts, films, TV, radio, and other formats. The ideal candidate for this position has 3+ years of video/audio mixing and recording or post-production experience, is an expert in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud and is a relentlessly self-motivated and organized team player. Abbson employees must be comfortable working on all types of politically conservative content.
Reports to: Post-Production Manager

Organize, edit, revise, and render videos for use on social platforms, full-length episodes of podcasts and other episodic web series, short films, docuseries, television and radio commercials, online advertisements, and other forms of visual media
Create versions of videos which are optimized for various social media platforms
Ingest, transcode, sync, line up, and prepare projects for editing
Pull and cut clips for playback on podcasts and other video projects
Quality control post-production projects to ensure Abbson and client standards are met
Keep track of project footage, exports, and versions in databases to ensure ease of access
Seamlessly and efficiently work with other video editors on the Production team throughout the editing process to deliver all projects on time, on budget, and without error
Integrate in-stream or in-video assets as required for live events
Take direction and implement feedback with appropriate urgency
Integrate in-stream or in-video assets as required for live events
Perform graphics edits as required to implement or update lower thirds, start or end cards, bugs, branding screens, and other on-screen graphic content
Perform other tasks as assigned


3+ years of video/audio mixing and recording or post-production experience
Specialized knowledge of complex video and production equipment and a broad range of professional video software
Extremely accomplished in Adobe Premiere and knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud
Strong visual acumen, storytelling abilities and editorial instincts
Proficient with personal computer operation, Microsoft Office and G Suite
Technical expertise in file management software and techniques
Familiarity with the entire post-production process from ingest and media management to versioning, deliverables and publishing
Basic motion graphics skills, color correction skills and creative color-grading instincts
Basic audio post-production skills, including dialogue editing, sound mixing, repair and sweetening
A general understanding of how video advertising works on popular social media platforms
Multi-cam and news editing experience (preferred)
Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Avid Pro Tools (preferred)
