HOW YOU’LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING ( & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

The Specialist, Graphic Design manages day-to-day strategic visual asset development in support of Sales Marketing channels and objectives. This individual is responsible for the development of marketing communications assets, both online and offline, across several platforms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops new and unique ideas to tell Delta’s story through visual assets with the ability to turn complex design issues into clean, intuitive solutions.
Leverages advanced digital skills, including video and animation, to deliver engaging, creative content in new mediums.
Supports field sales team marketing requests to drive account engagement with Delta’s brand.
Traffics incoming requests, reviews creative briefs, and assigns requests in accordance with business needs and brand guidelines.
Provides creative guidance and education to non-designers with respect to the design rationale and how it meets business objectives.
Responsible for executing plans on budget, on time, and with maximum impact against core target audience and objectives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
Bachelor’s of Arts or Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or the equivalent in a related field required. 
Full command of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Premier/After Effects is necessary
Must demonstrate a unique ability to interpret strategic storylines and translate into impactful campaigns. 
Should possess business maturity, the ability to recognize and address problems with the appropriate sense of urgency, and the capacity to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision. 
Strong written and communication skills are essential. Should possess a proven ability to communicate effectively across levels of organizations and teams. 
Should be solution-oriented, capable of multi-tasking and demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment. 
Utilizes creative best practices, and problem-solving mindset to achieve results.
Should have strong leadership, design, organizational and negotiating skills. 
Must possess marketing experience (5+ years) in a combination of advertising, graphic design, print production, graphic communications, media planning/buying, brand management, and/or promotional marketing industry. Strong knowledge of graphic design required. 
General knowledge of Delta’s products, services, markets and competitive market position as well as sales strategies, programs, processes, and tools are highly desirable. 
Must be willing and able to travel occasionally and performing satisfactorily in current position.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

Master of Business Administration or master’s degree with emphasis in marketing.
Travel industry experience.
Experience with approval management tools – like Workfront – is preferred.
Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and HTML5 is a plus.
