Overview

SpaceX is currently building the world’s next human spaceflight capability. We’re actively supporting a wide array of mission types – revolutionizing access to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) with cargo and crewed Dragon missions, returning humans to the Moon by developing a Human Lander System (HLS) for NASA’s Artemis program, and rapidly developing Starship, the first rocket and spacecraft designed to support crewed trips to Mars. As a member of our contractor team you’ll primarily assist as an office manager while also serving as lead nurse, providing clinical care on crewed missions. You will also provide on-site care to employees at Boca Chica, Texas and Cape Canaveral, Florida. In Boca Chica, you would help manage a 24/7 clinic staffed by paramedics. In Cape Canaveral, we are focused on medical operations to support astronaut missions and those who go on prolonged offshore missions, with some occupational health screens.

We are looking to hire an office manager that can help with clerical work ranging from clinic inventory management, staffing schedules, payroll, executive assistant tasks, paramedic training coordination, onboarding, and general delegation for the administration. On-site presence in Cape Canaveral is required ~3 days per week and on average 1 week per month in Boca Chica, TX. Flexibility, including occasional weekend work, is required to meet the needs of aggressive deadlines and astronaut launch schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain schedule of paramedics for 24/7 coverage at Boca Chica clinic, and coordinate paramedic compliance, training, and quality improvement and patient follow-up
Maintain inventory and medical kits of Cape Canaveral and Boca Chica clinics

Schedule travel, answer phones, and perform other executive assistant tasks for SpaceX doctors
Perform occupational health exams for SpaceX employees
You may be asked to fill in for a clinical shift at the Boca Chica clinic
Learn all necessary operational tasks for crew launch and recovery
