OBJECTIVE
To build, execute, and manage an effective and empathetic human resources/people operations program that supports organizational and personal growth, an excellent organizational culture, world-class programs, and product delivery, and conducts all efforts in compliance with the law and best practices in a remote, multi-state team.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the FPC mission, share and support the Organization’s values, love working with people, be a positive member of the FPC Team, and help the Organization win and succeed
Work with executives, leaders, and managers across the Organization to set and execute the roadmap for FPC’s short- and long-term HR and growth planning
Review current policies, procedures, record-keeping, and files, and provide recommendations and strategic plans
Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, conduct regular staff check-ins, gather employee feedback, and ascertain sentiment for inclusion into executive planning
Determine the HR KPIs and build the dashboards needed to maintain real-time awareness of individual team status and cultural health
Provide substantive support to recruiting and growth efforts
Manage job offers, onboarding and integration processes, and changes in employee status
Maintain employee files, ensuring the integrity of employee and Organization data consistent with law, best practices, and policies
Lead staff and team review processes and oversee creation and performance of individual development plans
Manage HR-related facilities/compliance issues, safety programs and protocols, government filings and reports, and workers’ compensation issues
Manage dispute and issue resolution procedures
Manage regular and off-cycle payroll, and time-off policies and requests
Manage employee benefits programs and find new ways to add value
Track employee-assigned Organizational assets, equipment, cards
Support executives and leaders in implementing Organization policies and procedures
Use analytics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Adhere to policies, procedures, direction, and legal requirements
Never compromise the Organization’s values, mission, brand, and team
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Be authorized to work in the United States
Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
Have a strong work ethic and personal integrity
Hold personal values which align with the Organization’s values, purpose, mission, and current objectives
Have 5-7 years of successful experience in an HR management role
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
Have a strong ability to build highly effective training and development programs for diverse skill sets
Have experience in effectively working in a multi-state remote team
Have the ability to respond quickly, effectively, and empathetically to the most sensitive inquiries
Have an excellent focus and organizational skills
Have excellent strategic vision and planning skills
Be well-organized, self-directed, and efficient
Have the ability and willingness to review, with meticulous attention to detail, all of the final work products that you create
Be default aggressive and embody principles of extreme ownership
Have the ability to effectively handle stress and pressure consistent with the job duties and industry
Genuinely enjoy collaborating and creating with executives, other leaders, and your team members
Have a working knowledge of and proficiency with computers, mobile devices, software, and business communications tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.)
Have a valid driver’s license with no more than one (1) chargeable moving violation or accidents within the last three (3) years, and provide proof of same, as well as a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
Be able to travel and meet with executives, team members, vendors, and others as needed
Have an attitude that fits our culture

STRONGLY PREFERRED

Have a strong sense of humor
SPHR Certification
Experience working with recruiting, ATS, and HR platforms such as JazzHR, BambooHR, Gusto, Indeed, etc.
Experience working in or around the firearms and Second Amendment community
Experience in or knowledge of liberty issues and political philosophies
